A SuperGlu Premium gift lets someone log meals, see what happened to their glucose afterward, and keep their CGM and Apple Health data flowing in. You buy it once; they redeem it in the app.
Your payment processed and your SuperGlu gift subscription is ready. Here’s what happens next:
- Check your email. Your redemption code is on its way from gifts@glucoworks.com, usually within a few minutes. If you don’t see it, check your spam folder.
- Share the code with the person you’d like to give the subscription to.
- They redeem it in the SuperGlu iPhone app: Settings → Account → “Redeem a gift code.” Premium starts the moment they redeem it.
The code can be used once and is valid for 12 months from purchase; the exact date is in your email. Expired codes can’t be redeemed or refunded. Nothing renews and no one is charged again. No code after 15 minutes? Email support@glucoworks.com with the email you used at checkout and we’ll resend it.

Codes are valid for 12 months from the purchase date. If you buy today, your code is valid until 12 months from today. Expired codes can’t be redeemed or refunded.
Already have a code? Open the SuperGlu iPhone app and go to Settings → Account → “Redeem a gift code.”
How it works
- You buy a gift on this page, in about a minute.
- A redemption code arrives by email at the address you check out with, usually within a few minutes.
- You share the code however you like — a card, a text, an email.
- They redeem it in the SuperGlu iPhone app: Settings → Account → "Redeem a gift code." Premium starts the moment they redeem.
Good to know
- The gift length starts when the code is redeemed, not when you buy it.
- Each code can be redeemed once, by one account.
- The code is valid for 12 months from the purchase date (the exact date is in your email). Expired codes can’t be redeemed or refunded.
- If the recipient already has Premium or a gift, a new gift adds time on top of what they have.
- A gift never renews or charges anyone again. When it ends, the account keeps read access to everything already logged.
- SuperGlu requires an iPhone. The recipient creates a free account when they open the app.

What does the recipient get?
Full SuperGlu Premium for the length you chose: logging meals with photo estimates, glucose outcomes from past similar meals, CGM, insulin pump and Apple Health data, and every other Premium feature.
Do I need a SuperGlu account to buy one?
No. You only need an email address to receive the code.
I didn't get my code.
Check your spam folder first; it's sent from gifts@glucoworks.com. If it isn't there after 15 minutes, email support@glucoworks.com with the email you used at checkout and we'll resend it.
Is this the same as subscribing in the app?
No. A gift is a one-time purchase for someone else and doesn't involve the App Store. Subscriptions bought inside the app are billed monthly or yearly by Apple and renew until cancelled.
Does SuperGlu give medical advice?
No. SuperGlu shows what happened after past meals, based on the person's own history. It never recommends food or insulin doses. See support for details.
